An overview - selected images from several projects;

My work could perhaps be described as eclectic, whatever that truly means. Certainly it is varied, if not all-encompassing. My image-making follows an instinctive need to pursue, investigate, absorb and then move on. I move freely between genres and subjects; for me the transitions feel entirely seamless, though to the casual observer they may appear random, even jarring.

The subject matter that demands my attention is expansive. Architecture and interiors inspire me through structure, form and atmosphere, while landscape fulfils something more emotional and reflective. To walk the streets of a city, through the hallways and quiet rooms of a gallery or museum, is to observe the fabric of humanity in all its complexity — and ultimately its greatest manifestation: people.

My love of photographing people is both theatrical and psychological, an unending process of self-education and discovery. Photography becomes a form of conversation without words, an exploration of identity, vulnerability, performance and presence. Whether working with dancers, artists, strangers or collaborators, I am continually drawn toward those fleeting moments where gesture, expression and atmosphere align to reveal something truthful, however ambiguous that truth may be.
